Stimsoles required a system to collect detailed foot measurements from users and generate a unique SKU for custom sneakers. The original approach relied on Google Sheets and macros, which introduced scalability and reliability limitations.
The Challenge
Google Sheets macros could not reliably run via API submissions, especially with multiple concurrent users. This caused data conflicts, limitations in automation, and scalability concerns.
Our Solution
We designed and developed a fully custom WordPress-based system to replace the spreadsheet workflow.
Key components included:
- Custom admin dashboard to manage value ranges and calculation logic
- Dynamic calculation engine to process foot measurements
- Frontend measurement form for users
- Automatic generation of unique SKU codes
- Secure database storage with export functionality
The Results
The custom solution removed spreadsheet bottlenecks and delivered a scalable system capable of generating SKUs in real time, storing structured data, and supporting future growth.
